Zaniyah and I read this adorable book today!!! Z was shocked that Rebecca knew her name when she autographed the book. She loved Mrs. Whiskers' name and wants to name one of her cats Whiskers now. When she saw this sweet little girl on the "About the author" page, she gave her a kiss and said she wanted to play with her. I told her, "That little girl is grown up and has 3 girls of her own now. Maybe next time we're in Colorado we can see them and you can play with her daughters." Then she noticed the boots matched the boots at the beginning of the book. Afterwards I scanned the QR code and Zaniyah listened to Rebecca's narration of the story and thought it was hilarious that the chicken sound was the cue to turn the page.
